Rapid Prototyping & Proof of Concept

Before the big budget: a prototype that answers the question. We build proof-of-concept systems in weeks — electronics, firmware, sensors, mechanics and software working together well enough to convince physics, investors and your own roadmap.

Rapid Prototyping & Proof of Concept
01 — What we do

Rapid builds

Proof-of-concept systems

The fastest honest answer to 'can this work?' — built, measured, documented.

Dev-platform bring-up

Raspberry Pi, STM32, ESP32, BeagleBone, Arduino, Jetson — the right shortcut for the phase.

Custom prototype boards

When off-the-shelf stops: quick-turn PCBs that bridge to the real product.

Demo & investor units

Prototypes that survive a live demo — enclosed, labeled, reliable for the meeting that matters.

Sensing & physical computing

Sensor integration

IMU, temperature, distance, force, chemical, vision — selected, calibrated, fused.

Data-acquisition rigs

Instrumented test setups that turn an argument into a graph.

Actuation

Motors, pumps, valves and drivers wired safely into the experiment.

Communications bring-up

Ethernet, WiFi, BLE, LoRa, cellular, Zigbee — connected from day one.

Mechanics & integration

3D-printed fixtures & enclosures

Functional mechanics around the electronics — fast iterations, real tolerances.

Test jigs

Repeatable experiments instead of taped-together miracles.

ROS prototypes

Robotic concepts assembled quickly on ROS/ROS 2 where it accelerates.

Pilot batches

From the one-off to the first 10–100 units, with lessons captured for production.

De-risking & direction

Feasibility studies

Physics, power, cost and regulatory checks before money is committed.

Architecture for the real product

The POC is designed so its lessons — and often its code — carry into production.

Spec & roadmap writing

Requirements documents your next phase (or next vendor) can actually build from.

Technology selection

Component and platform choices argued with numbers, not fashion.

02 — How we work
01

Define the question

Every POC answers a specific risk — we write it down first.

02

Build fast

Weeks, not quarters: working hardware over polished slides.

03

Measure honestly

Real data against the acceptance criteria, failure modes included.

04

Decide & carry forward

Go/no-go with evidence — and a path from POC to product.

04Frequently asked questions

How fast is 'rapid'?

Typical POCs run 3–8 weeks depending on scope. We commit to a timeline at kickoff — speed is the point of this service.

Will the prototype code/design be reusable for the product?

We design POCs so their architecture and lessons carry forward. Some parts are deliberately quick-and-dirty — we'll always tell you which.

We're a startup before funding — how do you work with that?

Tightly scoped fixed milestones, honest feasibility advice (including 'don't build this'), and prototypes built to survive investor demos.

Can you continue from POC to the full product?

That's the model: the same team that built your POC carries it into board design, firmware, certification and production — no knowledge lost in handoff.
